Acting President of Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Federation Professor Harunur Rashid Khan stated that human-written books will not lead to the liberation of the working class. The only way to working-class emancipation is Islam. The labor policy that the Holy Prophet (SAW) formulated implies the emancipation of the worker.
He made these remarks in his speech as the chief guest at today’s half-year responsible assembly, which the Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Federation Barisal region organized. Regional Director Kabir Ahmed presided over the meeting, and Assistant Director Mashiur Rahman moderated it. Barisal City President Master Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Zafar Iqbal, Barisal District President Advocate Zahir Uddin Yamin, Pirojpur District President Zahirul Haque, and others attended.
According to Professor Harunur Rashid Khan, working people’s lives are devoid of contentment and tranquility. After a day of inhumane labor, all that can be heard in their home is moaning. They are struggling greatly to spend their days with their families. Their home is devoid of food. No attire. Not enough money exists to treat They do not have this chance to provide their kids with an education. Employees put in a lot of effort to live comfortably. However, labor serves no purpose for them.
He claimed that although the owners’ wealth is growing daily, the workers are living in abject poverty. Workers have no desire to own anything. They don’t want to live like owners. All they want is their fair share. This assertion is not unjust. The state-made constitution includes a mention of workers’ rights. This is a right that millions of devoted workers want to be realized.
According to Professor Harunur Rashid Khan, we want workers to live happy and peaceful lives. The workers’ lives won’t be miserable if the Islamic labor policy is put into practice. Employees will be paid fairly and reclaim their fundamental rights. Respect for employees and their social standing will be upheld. The employment laws of Islam will benefit owners. Employee-owner relations will be lovely. They will become brothers to one another. This relationship will lead to an increase in production.
Additionally, he asserted that no one is subject to Islam’s oppression. Islam has created a system of justice between employers and employees. Therefore, no one will have the chance to suffer if an Islamic labor policy is put into place.
